The girlfriend of Jayden Adams – Aqueelah Adendorf – has reposted several heartbreaking posts about her grieving process in the wake of his death. This comes after the mother of one briefly deactivated her TikTok account after being trolled by social media users following a report that claimed that she had quarrelled with the Bafana Bafana player in his final hours. The soccer star is believed to have taken his own life earlier this month, just weeks after his return with the national team from the FIFA World Cup. He leaves behind two children: a five-year-old daughter with Aqueelah, and a toddler son with another woman, Jody Solomons.  JAYDEN ADAMS’S GIRLFRIEND REPOSTS HEARTBREAKING Over the past week, Jayden Adams’s girlfriend Aqueelah Adendorf returned to TikTok after briefly deactivating her account. This followed a media report that claimed that the Bafana Bafana player and his partner had had a heated fight, whilst intoxicated, in the hours before his death. The report also claimed that the 25-year-old – who is believed to have taken his own life – had called his father to express his apparent sadness and dejection. The allegations trended on social media, with many trolling Aqueelah over her last interaction with her partner. On her TikTok account, Aqueelah has reposted several posts about grief and losing a loved one. She’s even distanced herself from being labelled “Chidimma 2.0” The clinical audiologist was crowned this week by Africa Beauty International, which also owns the Miss Universe South Africa and Miss Supranational franchise titles. The Miss World finale takes place on 5 September in Vietnam. MISS WORLD SA CLARIFIES IDENTITY On social media, Miss World South Africa Romanda Hombir has been scrutinised over her identity. Some social media users have even accused the 27-year-old of being a “Chidimma 2.0”, referring to another beauty queen who is facing deportation over her illegal immigration status. In an interview with Morning Live, Romanda clarified her identity. She said: “I have understood where people’s concerns are coming from because we want to know that whoever is representing our nation is South African. I am proudly South African.  “I am born and bred in South Africa, in Nelspruit. My mother is a black woman; she is of Swati and Zulu heritage. My father is coloured, that is where the confusion has come from. We have some German heritage. My parents are South African; I am South African. Romanda Hombir has spoken publicly about living with endometriosis and has been vocal about women’s health issues. It’s not the first time she’s participated in the Miss World South Africa pageant – in 2024, she placed as the second runner-up.  Last month, she placed in the top three at Miss Supranational South Africa. Romanda will represent South Africa at the 75th Edition of Miss World, which takes place on 5 September.
