Springbok assistant coach Deon Davids said veteran Springboks returning from injury had acquitted themselves well in training and, while they are expected to give their all, they will be managed carefully during Saturday’s one-off Test against Argentina. Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Given Msimango has penned an emotional farewell message following his departure from the club. The 27-year-old centre-back parted ways with Amakhosi over the weekend and is widely expected to join fellow Betway Premiership side Stellenbosch FC. Msimango arrived at Naturena in 2023 during Cavin Johnson’s tenure and was immediately entrusted with the captain’s armband. He showed plenty of promise in his debut season, but recurring injuries hampered his progress. The arrival of former head coach Nasreddine Nabi also saw him slip down the pecking order. Ex Kaizer Chiefs captain leaves Naturena The defender fought his way back into the first team towards the end of last season after Zitha Kwinika sustained an injury.
