Former Izingane Zes’thembu star and Mpumelelo Mseleku’s ex, Vuyokazi Nciweni, has denied rumours that she is in a new relationship. The rumours began after a video of Nciweni kissing a man was shared on her Instagram Stories before circulating on social media. Vuyokazi can’t do this man not after the comeback she’s done pic.twitter.com/Jf1spjNBhq– nicole (@Bigbrother_all) July 15, 2026 Addressing the video Addressing the rumours, Nciweni said the video had been taken out of context. “Usually, I’m not the type who addresses things, but I see you guys have already made up your minds about whatever is going on.” She said she met the man while she was out in Pretoria. “I’m currently in Pretoria for work, and I happened to go groove one night. I got intoxicated. I met this guy, and we vibed.” Nciweni said she does not know the man and had only met him that night. “I don’t even follow him. I don’t know who he is, and I don’t know his handles. I met him at the club, and we vibed. I was intoxicated.” She also denied posting the video herself. “People who know me very well, they know very well that I would never, ever post something like that on my story. It was not me who posted that.” Nciweni said she was too intoxicated to know what was happening at the time. “I was too intoxicated to know what I was doing at that moment. So I did not post that video. It was posted either by his friend or him,” she said. @vuyokazi_nciweni Yoh Ay… ♬ original sound – Vuyokazi_Nciweni

Lotto jackpot: How R2.6 million turned into just one house
Joseph Mathabati’s life changed the day a Lotto ticket handed him R2.6 million. What he did with that money afterwards became one of the stories people still ask about. That’s mostly because of what’s left of it today. The R2.6 million night that changed Joseph Mathabati’s life Joseph won R2.6 million from the Lotto, a life-changing sum for anyone. Rather than easing into the change, he quit both his job and his own business almost immediately. He chose to build a new life around the winnings instead of alongside them. Cars, a truck and a costly mistake: how the R2.6 million disappeared He put part of the money into building himself a house, a decision that’s held up better than almost anything else he did with the win, as shown in his full episode. The rest went into multiple cars, including one worth R450,000, plus a truck he later sold at a R110,000 loss within months. Alcohol and friends absorbed much of what remained. Within a relatively short space of time, very little of the original R2.6 million remained. What’s left of Joseph Mathabati’s R2.6 million today Unlike several other subjects from the same series, including Boikie’s five-car spending spree, Joseph still has one thing left to show for his win, a house he can pass on to his children long after the rest of the money disappeared. I think that’s the part of his story worth sitting with, hey, one good decision outlasting several bad ones. It’s a small reminder that how the first purchase gets made can matter just as much as how much money there was to begin with. Would you have built first, or spent first? Tell us in the comments. The South African is the first to deliver Lotto results each day. Check back at 21:00 for tonight’s results.

Confirmed: Anthem singer for Springboks at Kings Park
As the Springboks prepare for their third home Test of 2026, a passionate crowd is expected to turn up at Kings Park for the clash against Wales, and TheSouthAfrican has now learned who will be singing the national anthem prior to kick off. The South African anthem will be performed by Pearl Adams, a talented South African gospel and worship singer. Much of Pearl’s widespread recognition comes from her involvement with The Jesus Collective (TJC) – a well-known South African gospel music ministry and mentorship organisation that brings together established and rising artists. POWERFUL NATIONAL ANTHEM PERFORMANCE EXPECTED BEFORE SPRINGBOKS KICK OFF Boks target another big win The Test, which is the Boks’ final home match in the inaugural Nations Championship, kicks off at 17:40 at Kings Park in Durban on Saturday. Former Junior Springbok lock Ruben van Heerden is one of four players who will make their Test debut, and said he could not wait for the occasion.“I don’t really know how to describe it,” said van Heerden. “It’s been a whirlwind of a ride since I got the call to join the Springboks. At this stage, I’m not really too nervous, although perhaps the nerves will come, but I’m very excited for Saturday. “Everyone walks a different path and has a different journey, so I’m trying not to overthink anything. I’m just grateful for the opportunity and hoping to make the most of it when it comes.” The towering lock carved his path from the SA U18 team to the Junior Springboks between 2015 and 2017, and ran out for the SA ‘A’ team against Zimbabwe in Gqeberha a few weeks ago. “It’s exciting playing alongside some of the double World Cup winners, and then having three other guys making their debuts as well,” he said, referencing Vusi Moyo (flyhalf), Carlu Sadie (prop), and Jaco Williams (wing). “You know you’re not the only one, which is comforting. When I’m on the field on Saturday, and I look around me and see someone in the same position as I’m in, and at the same time get to draw inspiration from guys who have been there and done it, it makes it an occasion to look forward to.”
