Rachel shows support at Siya Kolisi’s Stormers homecoming
Rachel Kolisi accompanied her two children to support her ex, Siya Kolisi at his Stormers homecoming match at the DHL Stadium in Cape Town. The 35-year-old – who is dating influencer Rachel John – returned to his franchise club to be closer to his children and siblings. Two years ago, Springboks’s first couple announced their marriage split. RACHEL SHOWS SUPPORT TO SIYA KOLISI’S STORMERS HOMECOMING On her Instagram Stories, Rachel Kolisi donned a Stormers shirt as she accompanied her children to watch their dad, Siya Kolisi make his Stormers return to DHL Stadium. The occasion marks the first time in five years that Siya has played for the Cape Town club at its home stadium. “We did it all today, would be an understatement”, Rachel shared.  It’s not the first time Rachel put her differences aside to support her ex. Last year, the blonde author and philanthropist travelled to Paris with her children to watch Siya earn his 100th Springboks test cap. CLOSER TO FAMILY Siya Kolisi has shared that his transfer from the Sharks to the Stormers was not just a career move, but a bid to be closer to his two children, Nick and Keziah and siblings, Phelo and Liyema. Following their marriage split, Rachel, and the children returned to their Cape Town family home. Siya shared in a statement: “My family is in Cape Town, and it is important to me to be close to them. This move gives me the chance to do that while also giving back to the team and fans who made such a big contribution to the player and person I am today. He added: “I am looking forward to contributing in any way I can to the future success and happiness of this special club and its incredible supporters”. Stormers boss John Dobson told the press that Siya Kolisi had taken a “massive pay cut” in his sacrifice to return home. He said: “Siya was desperate to come back and made a massive financial sacrifice to be here. That gesture is appreciated.  “He said all I want to do is play for the Stormers and come back to Cape Town. “When you have a Springbok captain who has made a great contribution to the country, make that gesture; it would be unfair to him to reveal the numbers, but that showed where his heart is. “There is not one element of financial gain.”
